The main objective of this plan is, to better allocate resources to meet the passenger demand in the area. Boost capacity where it is needed, as well as to cut down on waste. It is not ok, operating E class trams every 5 minutes, with only 5 people on board.

I am also supportive of a proposal put forward by Yarra Trams, to replace route #109, with a route that shall follow #86 out to Clifton Hill, much the same way of which #12 follows the BoxHill route for part of the way. Although this has not been included in this page.

UNIQUE CONNECTIONS - for routes #84 and #85

The whole length of routes #84 and #85 are shared with #86, #11 and #24 over different sections of these routes.

The only unique area to be covered by #84 and #85 of which are not currently serviced, is the Thornbury Hump. This could provide enhanced connections with the nearby railway station.
